Levin & Curlett is a white collar litigation boutique based in Baltimore, Maryland (that’s right, home of The Wire), with offices in New York and Washington DC.  We trace our roots all the way back to October, 2008, when federal prosecutors Steve Levin and Stephanie Gallagher left the United States Attorney’s Office to form Levin & Gallagher LLC, just as the country embraced the worst economic unrest since the great depression. But they persevered, practicing with distinction until 2011 when Stephanie Gallagher was elected Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.  Soon after, Steve persuaded co-founder Chad Curlett to leave behind the comfort and security of partnership in a national law firm and embark on the entrepreneurial adventure that is Levin & Curlett.

In just 3 years, we have doubled in size, welcoming Strider Dickson (alumnus of the USAO for the Southern District of Florida and DLA Piper) as a partner, and Sarah Lacey (BigLaw refugee and litigator extraordinaire) who is of counsel to the firm.

Our firm has extensive experience in all facets of criminal and civil litigation. Whether clients are involved in contractual disputes, business litigation, or qui tam whistleblower cases, our trial experience allows the firm to work effectively with clients to achieve their goals. Similarly, extensive prosecutorial backgrounds allow the firm to represent clients who are involved in criminal proceedings as targets, subjects, witnesses, recipients of grand jury subpoenas, or defendants.

By using cutting-edge technology and relying on a wealth of trial and litigation experience, Levin & Curlett provides the same exceptional quality of legal services provided by the largest national law firms. However, as a small boutique comprised of accomplished, experienced attorneys, Levin & Curlett provides clients with personal attention at a more predictable and reasonable cost.
